Girls Go STEM is an educational initiative funded by the European Union and led by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) Community. Its mission is to prepare young people, particularly girls aged 14–19, for future careers by equipping them with essential digital, entrepreneurial, and green skills. The program aims to close the gender gap in STEM and empower the next generation to drive sustainable innovation.
Through its free online platform, the Circular Learning Space, the initiative provides interactive, challenge-based learning in over 30 countries. The curriculum focuses on high-impact areas such as artificial intelligence, the circular economy, and deep tech. By connecting students, educators, and industry partners, Girls Go STEM supports key European policies, including the Digital Education Action Plan and the New European Innovation Agenda, and has already empowered tens of thousands of students.
